The plugin is available for both Android Studio Canary (Giraffe) and IntelliJ EAP. As always, these versions are not fully supported, but are available for preview use.
We added some informative labels to the settings page that emphasize which settings are global and which apply only to the current project.
As you can see, the SDK is specific to each project, and all other settings apply to all projects. If you want to have format-on-save apply to some projects but not others, use the newly-added link to the IDE settings to set it for each project.
You can configure the IDE to automatically run a test configuration before performing git commit. Open the Git Commit tool window and click the settings button (gear) at the bottom right, then select the test configuration to run.
When creating a new project with project type set to Package the plugin would complain that at least one platform had to be selected. There was no way to set a platform because packages have no platform dependencies. Special thanks to GitHub user @crasowas for contributing a PR to fix that!
